Robert W. Gibbs, Jr., is a lawyer with over 30 years’ experience in law, governmental relations and business. He is dedicated to his client and strives to provide value to the client through ethical legal representation.

Mr. Gibbs established and managed the corporate law department for the nation’s fifth largest utility –  Houston Lighting & Power Company. He managed over a billion dollars of legal matters relating to the company. His corporate legal experience includes regulatory, employment, contract, business bankruptcy, litigation, real property, claims, and right-of-way issues.

The Practice

Mr. Gibbs’ practice focuses on elder law, property law, wills and probate, business law, contracts, family law, delinquent tax issues, ad litem appointments, medical law which includes physician and medically related employment contracts, buying/selling physician practices, and defending on Medicare fraud.

Mr. Gibbs will provide mediation services to help resolve legal issues.
